A civil engineering office was founded in 1986 by CEO Welf Zimmermann working alone as a freelanced civil engineer with principal office in Austria 9611 Nötsch in Gailtal supported only by his wife Renate Zimmermann.

In 1992 the office building was upgraded and new fitted with contemporary EDP System.

In 2007 the freelanced civil engineering office was reorganized in ZT company zimmermann consult ZT gmbh growing headcount up to 10.

In 2014 the amalgamation of the two engineering offices zimmermann consult ZT gmbh and master builder Dipl. Ing. Dr.Techn. Stefan Kuss resulted in current ZKP ZT GmbH.
